Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Falcon Watch Parts. We want you to be clear on what to expect when buying new old stock (NOS) and vintage watch parts.

This policy applies to orders placed directly through our website (falconwatchparts.com or any associated domain). For purchases made through marketplaces (such as eBay), please refer to the return policy shown on that platform.


1. General Return Window

  • We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date.

  • To be eligible, items must be:

    • Unused and uninstalled

    • In the same condition as received

    • In the original packaging (if applicable)

If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, we’re generally unable to offer a refund, except where required by law.


2. Items That Cannot Be Returned

Because of the nature of watch parts and NOS inventory, the following are non-returnable:

  • Items listed as “for parts or repair,” “as-is,” “untested,” “junk lot,” or similar

  • Any item that has been installed, fitted, cut, polished, glued, trimmed, or otherwise modified

    • This includes crystals that have been pressed into a case or altered for fitting

  • Items sold as clearance, final sale, or non-returnable, where noted on the product page

  • Custom or special-order items clearly marked as non-returnable at checkout

If you’re unsure whether a part is suitable for your application, please contact us before purchasing. We can help with measurements and general guidance, but we cannot guarantee fit for a specific watch, case, or movement.


3. Incorrect Item, Defective Item, or Our Error

If there is an issue on our side, we’ll work to correct it.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if:

  • You received the wrong item, size, or quantity compared to your order

  • The item is significantly different from the description or photos

  • The item arrived damaged in transit

We may ask for clear photos of:

  • The item received

  • The outer packaging and shipping label

  • Any damage or discrepancy

Once confirmed, we will either:

  • Send a replacement (if available), or

  • Issue a full refund, including original shipping charges

In these cases, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs or provide a prepaid return label where applicable.


4. Buyer’s Choice / Ordered the Wrong Item

We understand that measurements and fit can be tricky with watch parts.

If you ordered the wrong size or part:

  • Returns may be accepted within the 30-day window for eligible items (see Section 2), as long as they are unused, uninstalled, and in original condition.

  • Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility for “wrong size / wrong part / changed mind” situations.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where required by law.

We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item appears used, installed, modified, or materially different from how it was originally shipped.


5. Condition of Returned Items

All returns are inspected when they arrive.

We may reduce or deny a refund if:

  • The item shows signs of installation, modification, or misuse

  • The packaging is missing or significantly damaged beyond normal opening

  • Parts from a lot or set are missing or swapped

If a return is refused or only partially refundable, we will notify you and explain the reason.


6. How to Start a Return

To request a return, please contact us before sending anything back:

  • Details: Brief description of the issue and, if relevant, photos of the item and packaging

Please do not send items back without prior approval. Unauthorized returns may be delayed or refused.


7. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  1. We will email you to confirm we’ve received the item.

  2. We will approve or reject the refund based on this policy.

  3. Approved refunds will be issued to your original method of payment.

Please allow 5–10 business days for your bank or card issuer to post the credit after we process it.


8. Exchanges

We do not offer direct “swap” exchanges.

If you need a different size or part:

  1. Request a return for the original item (if eligible), and

  2. Place a new order for the correct item

This keeps inventory accurate and usually results in faster processing.


9. Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective/incorrect item.

  • For buyer’s-choice returns (wrong size, changed mind, etc.), return shipping is paid by the buyer.

  • For returns due to our error or carrier damage, we will either:

    • Provide a prepaid return label, or

    • Reimburse reasonable return shipping costs after review


10. Marketplace Purchases (eBay and Others)

If you purchased from us through eBay or another marketplace:

  • That order is governed by the return policy shown on the original listing and by the marketplace’s rules.

  • Please initiate any return or case through that platform, so everything is tracked properly.

This website policy does not override marketplace-specific policies.
